The citizens of the United
Kingdom, especially the heaviest UK citizens, have
rejoiced at the release of Adipex capsules. A list
on this website could not hold the name of the
cities in UK that have residents who rely on the
weight loss powers of Adipex. The cities of
Liverpool, of Dudley, of Warwick, or Worcester, of
Gloucester, of Coventry and, of course, of London
are but a few of the metropolitan centers where many
once overweight individuals sing the praises of
Adipex.
Adipex enjoys wider use in the U.K. than it does in
the U.S, because the FDA controls its distribution
on the American mainland. Those controls result from
the presence in Adipex of the chemical called
phentermine. Phentermine was used, along with
Fenfluramine, in the controversial weight loss drug
called Fen-phen.
More recent research points to Fenfuramine as the
likely chemical responsible for the harm that could
come from taking Fen-phen. Data so far discount the
possibility that phentermine could have the same
effect. The FDA, however, remains unconvinced of the
safety of phentermine. That is why Adipex enjoys
wider use in the U.K.
Users of Adipex have a choice of 2 different dosage
types. These dosage types do not provide different
quantities of the phentermine. Both types of Adipex
capsules contain 37.5 mg of phentermine. The
description for each capsule type reveals the way
that that phentermine is released.
Some capsules provide an immediate release of the
phentermine. The drug becomes part of the stomach
contents as soon as the capsule has been swallowed.
Other capsules deliver a timed release of the active
ingredient.
