The taking of Adipex, like the
use of all drugs, can lead to certain side effects.
Those side effects can be minimized by avoiding use
of Adipex while also taking a high blood pressure
medicine, or an MAL inhibitor.
The severity of any of the side effects will differ
from one individual to the next. Generally, the side
effects seen in users of Adipex have fallen into one
of three categories. The following paragraphs
provide details on each of those three categories.
There is a long list of mild side effects, but only
six of them are of primary importance. Adipex use
can cause blurred vision. Do not drive after taking
Adipex for the first time. Adipex use can cause the
user to develop a dry mouth. Sleeplessness and
irritability are also mild side effects seen on
users of Adipex. Some users complain about an upset
stomach or constipation.
The number of mild side effects is much shorter, but
appearance of the mild effects could be much more
alarming. Adipex use has been associated with chest
pain, with a pounding heart and with trouble
urinating. Obviously, any of those conditions would
need to be reported to the family physician
immediately. That doctor would decide whether or not
the use of Adipex could be continued.
Adipex use has, on occasion, been associated with a
few severe side effects. Sufferers of one of those
severe side effects could need treatment for either
primary pulmonary hypertension, or cardiac valvular
disease. Patients with one of those severe side
effects would obviously need immediate medical
attention.
